THE YELLOW WALLPAPER by Charlotte Perkins Gilman

i have been staring at my computer screen for three days straight attempting to get my dissertation underway. the introduction is 90 percent complete and chapter one is 50 percent complete, which i am honestly quite happy with. I have been researching Charlotte Perkins Gilman and The Yellow Wallpaper since 9am this morning in regards to female hysteria and biological madness as a form of breaking down rather than breaking out of previous literary traditions in the Victorian woman and the Victorian institution of marriage. now, i am sure most of you stopped reading or yawned heavily at that point - but it is actually really fascinating. this really was a pointless post, but i needed something to do for five minutes to stop me from going as loopy as the narrator in The Yellow Wallpaper!
